Australian Relief Organisation awarded “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development

Australian Relief Organisation (ARO) has been recently awarded a “Letter of Appreciation” by the Cambodian Ministry of Rural Development. ARO, with the donation supports, has established water wells in Cambodia that now provide drinkable water to over 25,000 locals on a daily basis.
ARO’s programs also included orphanage programs along with yearly food pack and dinner appeals to the needy. Since 2013, ARO’s partner in Cambodia, Mekong Charity, has played a crucial role in delivering humanitarian programs. ARO appreciates Mekong Charity’s role and shares credit with it. Well-respected Turkish intellectual and scholar Fethullah Gülen was awarded the Manhae Peace Prize for his contributions to world peace at a ceremony held in South Korea on Sunday. Among the prominent recipients of the Manhae awards since they were first presented in 1997 are former South African President Nelson Mandela, exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and Iranian rights advocate Shirin Ebadi.
