Students from 32 countries participate in international cultural festival in Cambodia

The second annual international language and cultural festival in Cambodia on March 23rd has drawn the participation of students from 32 countries who are studying at Zaman International School in Cambodia.
Art performances and pavilions on the traditional cultures of 32 countries aimed to promote friendship among nations. Entrance ticket fees were for charity activities in Cambodia.
Local NGOs urge Georgian gov’t to avoid returning Turkish teacher back home
Eight non-governmental organizations have called on the Georgian government to refrain from returning detained Turkish teacher to back home where “he will be possibly subjected to political persecution, torture, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment. “[He] will have no access to fair trial,” said a statement, released on May 31.
Mongolia’s Elite Schools sponsor reading halls at pediatric hospital
The Turkish-initiated Elite International Schools in Mongolia provided a state pediatric hospital at the capital city Ulaanbaatar with new reading halls for its young residents. At the ribbon cutting ceremony were the schools’ officials, students and hospital authorities along with the local press.
