Turkish Airlines discriminates against critical newspapers on planes

Turkey’s flagship carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) stopped the distribution of the Zaman, Today’s Zaman, Bugün and Ortadoğu dailies to business-class passengers on its planes on Monday without providing any explanation, though other dailies are still being handed out onboard.
THY’s Public Relations Department gave no explanation as to why it made the decis

If some were under the influence of interventionist culture of the army and preferred to trample the values of Hizmet with this reflex – which I do not think – their sins can not be attributed to all supporters of the movement. May God punish them. Nobody, including me, is above the law. I wish that all perpetrators, regardless of their affiliation, are sentenced to what they deserve through fair trial.
EU calls on Turkey to Investigate abduction cases targeting Gülen Movement
The European Union (EU) on Thursday said it was closely following developments in Turkey including the abductions of people from the Gülen movement, reminding Ankara of its responsibility to investigate these reported cases.

Hizmet, in fact, says the opposite. Members reach out to learn from other peoples, they actively invite people from different cultural backgrounds, people from different religious backgrounds to come and teach them, to teach them things.
