Kimse Yok Mu conducts 500 cataract surgeries in Pakistan

Humanitarian aid organization Kimse Yok Mu? (Is Anybody There?) carried out 500 cataract surgeries in Pakistan, as part of its international campaigns to reach out economically disadvantaged people.
Volunteers from the organization arrived in the city of Dera Ismail Khan in July for its campaign to perform cataract surgeries for 5,000 people in the country. So far, around 500 people have undergone surgeries, which bolstered ties between Turkey and Pakistan.
Speaking to Cihan news agency, local people expressed their gratitude for the aid campaign provided by donations by Turkish people.
“Kimse Yok Mu is a remedy for poor people living here. I thank to Kimse Yok Mu for the opportunities it presented to the people,” told a high level government official named Ali Amin Gandapur Cihan news agency.
Health Improvement Initiatives in Africa and Kimse Yok Mu
The ongoing hospital constructions in Somalia, Uganda, Ethiopia and Kenya can be listed as the most typical examples of Kimse Yok Mu’s sustainable development projects which are aimed at fulfilling the medical needs. The hospitals underway in four different countries will be equipped with 35 beds, 2 operation theatres, 2 delivery rooms, 1 intensive care and newborn unit, 12 outpatient service rooms, radiology service and labs.
Ramadan aid cheers up Sudanese orphans
Sudan is the country of children left orphaned due to civil war. Millions of Sudanese at hunger threshold are smiling at least a little thanks to aid from NGOs like Kimse Yok MU during Ramadan. In addition to another centrally-located orphanage’s renovation, KYM also seeks to finance orphans’ shelter and food needs. The orphans here are studying at a public school while they receive hafiz training from Sheikh Hasan Abdullah.
Fethullah Gulen: I am not hiding and not on the run
Sherko Hama Amin, a member of the Kurdistan Parliament’s Education Committee, told NRT that schools should not be shut down over political reasons, especially a political issue outside the region. The Turkish government has previously, even before the July 15 military coup attempt, called on the KRG to close schools connected to the Gulen movement in the region.
